DREAM LIKE A CHILD & LOVE WHAT YOU DO

I love what I do! I make CUSTOM BABY QUILTS and other baby items, and I absolutely enjoy every minute of it!

Remember when you were a little kid and the kinds of dreams you had about your life when you grew up? I remember thinking how I wanted to be an actress or a singer. I wanted to own my own business. I had big ideas and big dreams for myself. Then I grew up and reality set in. I went to work for someone else. I enjoyed most of what I did. I learned a lot. I tried to find some satisfaction out of every job. But I wanted more....not so much $$$$$ but, more personal satisfaction.....I wanted to feel like what I did mattered!

Dreams don't just happen, you have to make it happen. When I became a mom it was hard for me to even THINK of going back to work. So I did little "work from home" jobs. I liked what I did and was able to juggle it around my childrens lives but I never really took it too seriously. Now that my children don't require every waking minute of my time (and sometimes my sleeping minutes too! lol) I am focusing more on my new home based business. I heard people say "follow your heart," or "follow your dream," and always thought that was a positive outlook on life. But now that I am putting MY DREAM into action, those words strike deep in my heart. I tried to remember how I felt as a child when I dreamed about my future. That has helped fuel my passion to make it a REALITY.

I am so blessed to be able to focus my attention on running a business from home. Yes, it's work! But I love what I do! That's the key! You MUST enjoy what you do to really get satisfaction from it. I love making these ADORABLE BABY CREATIONS! I love knowing some little child will be kept warm with a baby quilt or baby item that was made with my hands.

I want to encourage everyone out there to follow a dream you have....and make it happen. It may not happen over night. It may be a long drawn out process....but think of all the great things you'll learn and appreciate through it all. And all the people whose lives you will touch by sharing your dream. You may be an inspiration to others! And that's a wonderful thing! So get out there and FOLLOW YOUR DREAM! I'm so glad I did! And thank you to everyone who supported me in my dream.
